Key ingredients in Shaving Gel for Him 225ml

This shaving gel brings together a concentrated herbal water base with plant oils, honey and a pair of classic perfumery notes.

Concentrated Herbal Water

A herbal infusion forms the base of the gel, a common starting point in traditional Lebanese soap and skincare preparations, lending the formula its light, water-based consistency before other ingredients are added.

Olive, Coconut & Almond Oils

Three plant oils feature in this blend. Olive oil has long been central to Lebanese soap-making, while coconut and almond oils are widely used across personal care formulations for their texture and familiar presence in grooming products.

Honey & Coconut Extracts

Honey is a traditional ingredient in regional skincare recipes, valued for generations, while coconut extracts are drawn from the same plant source as coconut oil, adding further depth to the formulation's composition.

Bergamot & Verbena

How to use

Apply a small amount of the gel to damp skin and spread it evenly across the beard area to soften the hair before shaving. Add a little water, then shave as usual. Rinse the face thoroughly with water afterwards to finish.

Why Khan Al Saboun

Khan Al Saboun began around 1480 in the old souks of Tripoli, in the soap-makers’ khan that gives the house its name, and its labels still carry the words “Since 1480”. Generations later, Dr. Bader Hassoun returned to his family’s craft, cooking soap at home and carving it into shapes of Lebanese heritage in front of the old Khan.

Today this family business is based in an eco-village in the Koura district of North Lebanon, with its own workshop, laboratory and the Valley of the Senses, where the plants for every product are grown.
